Villa Irene Lanzarote isn’t just a holiday rental. It’s a personal project, born from a deep wish to offer what I value most when I travel: freedom, stillness, real connection… and the sense that someone had you in mind before you even arrived.
Why trust me?
I don’t improvise. I’ve been surrounded by travelers my whole life. I grew up helping at my parents’ hotel, where I learned that hospitality isn’t about luxury—it’s about details: listening, being there, and caring with kindness and time. Later, I explored the world and worked in several countries, until I found my home in Lanzarote.
Here, I opened a dive center, worked in tourism and real estate, and kept learning what it really takes for someone to feel at ease far from home. Some years ago, I decided to take a new step and create my own space.
That’s how Charco del Palo Apartments came to life—six holiday apartments by the sea, in a truly special and natural setting, for guests seeking freedom, connection, and authenticity.
Villa Irene Lanzarote is the natural continuation of that journey: even more personal, more intimate, more thoughtfully designed. It’s the result of everything I’ve learned about genuine hospitality and meaningful rest. This isn’t a soulless business. It’s what I know how to do. What I love to do. And what I want to keep offering.
Who am I, and why Villa Irene Lanzarote exists?
I’m Simone. And Villa Irene Lanzarote carries a big part of who I am—my way of living, of caring, and of noticing the quiet little things that truly matter.
The name has deep meaning. I named the villa in honor of my mother, whose presence and strength have guided me throughout my life. Thanks to her, I am who I am.
And also for my daughter, who gives meaning to the way I live—and to every thoughtful detail you’ll find here. After many years in the tourism world, I knew that if I ever created something of my own, it had to be more than just a pretty place. It had to have soul.
A place where people could feel safe, calm, and completely themselves. Lanzarote made that possible.
From day one, this island embraced me. It’s here that I built a home, raised my daughter, and learned to enjoy the simple things: sunshine over coffee, dinner on the terrace, quiet nights under the stars by the ocean in our camper van.
Villa Irene Lanzarote was born from all of this. From the wish to share a way of living that’s slower, more intentional, and deeply connected. Here, there’s no noise. No rush. Just time to be—with yourself, with the ones you love, and with the island that makes it all possible.
